This is without a doubt, one of my top favorite restaurants in Orlando. The food is beyond exceptional, and it greatly makes up for the poor service and atmosphere. The atmosphere is OK, but the real issues that they are blasting music at a volume that is too loud. It is not even easy to converse without resorting to yelling. Luckily, it's a little quieter outside on the patio. The concept is very unique - you order your food at the bar and then go sit down anywhere and have it brought out to you as it is ready. We had an issue where all the bartenders saw us, but kept ignoring us and wouldn't take our order for about 15 minutes. The food though is incredible. I started off with chicken kaarage which is beautifully fried chicken with a delicious mayo dipping sauce. The seasoning is also so tasty! Then, I got a chicken skin skewer with tare (type of marinade). This was my favorite skewer of the night. Really crunchy, has a nice chew, and the char along with the marinade makes for a delicious bite. Next was the quail egg skewers with chili oil on top. I really enjoyed the flavor in this, however, I feel like to be a better way to eat this because as soon as you pick up the skewer, the eggs rotate and dump all the chili oil off. It is a umami bomb of flavor. My other favorite skewer of the night was the chicken thighs. This was so juicy and moist, and again with the tare marinade, it's so delicious! If you enjoy pork belly, this will easily be some of the best pork belly that you will get. You can't go wrong with any of their pork belly options, but we got all of the variety that they had. I also really enjoyed the chicken meatballs. These had a somewhat curry flavor, which reminded me more of Middle Eastern cooking techniques. It was really good, but definitely on the lower end of my ranking. The Gyoza is super juicy while being really crisp on the outside. The presentation is also top-tier. Both the garlic fried rice as well as the crab fried rice are amazing. If you like garlic flavor, these will really hit you. The other last really great dish we had was the red pepper pimento cheese with pork rinds. The pork rinds themselves are good and freshly fried, but the stand out is the cheese itself. The flavor is extremely fresh, cheesy, and somewhat nutty. Overall, this was one of my favorite meals in the city, and while the service is lacking, the quality of the food is incredible and generally impressed me throughout the entire meal.

Don't tell my wife this but when I suggested that we name our daughter Tori, it wasn't because it is a pretty name but because I am obsessed with birds. Chicken is beautiful in that is a blank canvas for chefs to flex their skill and Tori Tori understood their assignment with their tare. This is a bar like establishment which tracks since skewers are izakaya foods. Their wing, oyster and thigh skewers are really nice seasoned and perfectly grilled. Their tare is a blend of sweetness and saltiness that really comes together in an umami harmony. Their karaage though can be a little greasy I'll just get something else. Their lamb chops are really good and is a good way to end the meal

I have driven here many times & it's always super busy. No reservations allowed only walk-ins. Got carded for the first time in a very long time which was kinda fun lol. Iykyk. This Sunday night I said to hubby, we are going in dang it. And I'm so glad that we did. The place is great mix of modern/hipster if you can picture it. We had all demographics in the bar, some dressed up, some dress down. All are welcomed. The food was great just the right amount of light bites to keep you full while enjoying your cocktails. We had the blue crab croquettes, and the lamb chops, which were both delicious. All of the staff work together including the bartenders which made it very convenient. Husband had an old-fashioned, and I opted in for the citrus which oddly didn't turn out to be my favorite although I love ginger beer. Bartender recommended a lychee martini, which was everything I needed and more. Can't wait to come back again. Such a fun spot

In a city like Orlando, it was somewhat surprising to find a well regarded izakaya joint opened late, even on Sundays. To me, it's a place where I can get a bunch of small plates to try of everything at somewhat reasonable prices. The ordering situation here is that you have a piece of a paper and give that to the bartender, which I understand can be efficient if done correctly, but is woefully frustrating given that you basically have to wait at the bar like you're ordering drinks. You then get a number in which they bring the food to you, which is actually quite fast. While the food was delicious, unfortunately it feels limited in scope and geared more towards being "safe." Nothing unique or out of the ordinary on the menu such as liver. We ordered: * Chicken Thigh Skewer - 8/10: very generic skewer that was absolutely fine * Chicken Skin Skewer - 9/10: can't go wrong with delicious crispy skin * Pork Belly Skewer - 6/10: a bit overcooked for me * Chicken Oyster Skewer - 8/10: like the chicken thigh but in a more circular shape * Beef Skewer - 5/10: overcooked, but flavor was fine * Scallion Skewer - 8/10: grilled scallion with the sweet sauce * Quail Egg Skewer - 9/10: quite good, one of our favorites * Croquette - 10/10: one of my favorites here, there was good amount of crab meat and quite creamy * Mushrooms - 7/10: very flavorful, though a bit too sweet for my liking * Brussels - 6/10: actually tasted very much like okonomoyaki, though it was way too sweet and salty Thankfully, even though it was a club/bar like atmosphere, the music wasn't too loud so we could still have a conversation. The food was good, though ordering at the bar can be a bit frustrating.

Tori Tori is a great spot for a casual yet still nice late night dinner, and the drinks are great here. After a certain time it is 21+ only, and they check your ID right at the door. It is first come first serve on seating, so it can be a bit difficult when it is busy to snag a good seat. They offer outside seating, as well as booths, bar seats and casual couches. After ordering, the food comes out fairly quickly. It comes out when ready, so not all at once. The lamp chops were delicious, I was very happy with them. Every time I come, I always get the blue crab croquettes I think they are a classic! The peppers and beef skewers were also very yummy, I would also order those again. I will definitely be returning!

Ooh, how I love Tori Tori. It's hands-down one of my favorite spots, and I find myself recommending it time and time again. Whenever someone asks me where to go, this is my pick 80 percent of the time. The combination of amazing food, great drinks, and a fun atmosphere keeps me coming back. I'm obsessed with the tapas-style menu--it's perfect for sharing or indulging in a variety of flavors on your own. The prices are great for the quality and the portions, which makes it easy to try multiple dishes without feeling like you're overdoing it. And the drinks? The bartenders here are truly talented when it comes to craft cocktails. Whether you want something classic or adventurous, they'll make sure it's done right. The indoor space has such a cool and chic vibe, but if I'm being honest, I do think the outdoor area could be a little more inviting. It's not bad by any means, but I imagine with some extra creativity, it could become as special as the rest of the space. That said, it doesn't stop me from enjoying the experience every time I go. Tori Tori is fantastic whether I'm with friends, coworkers, or just looking for a great place to unwind. And when the night rolls in, the vibe gets even better--this place really comes alive. It's the perfect mix of good energy, excellent food, and drinks that never disappoint.
